An event was held this evening in Cambria County for Houses Of Worship, to discuss ways that they can keep their buildings and congregations safe.
The program called Keeping Your House Of Worship Safe focused on situational awareness, red flags, and simple steps to take including planning for multiple types of emergencies.
Leaders all Houses Of Worship in the county were encouraged to attend.
Cambria County District Attorney Greg Neugebauer emphasized why events and discussions like this are so important.
“At the end of the day, no one wants a situation like this to occur, but in the event that it does, if people are prepared, law enforcement is going to be able to respond and first responders will be able to repsond to the medical and other needs of this.”
