The homicide trial beginning today for a Johnstown man accused of fatally shooting a local high school student
This is the defendant Qwante Rose being led into court this afternoon.
Police say Rose shot 19-year-old Jayden Sanderson in the back of the head in a car in 2022.
A forensic expert testified today that touch DNA found on Sanderson’s clothing reportedly matched Rose’s DNA.
Rose’s defense attorney said the state has a heavy burden to prove Rose’s guilt beyond a reasonable doubt
