We now know the identity of the person who died in Centre County when a garbage truck backed into a tree
State Police say the victim is 38 year old Nathan Kerstetter of Milesburg
Troopers say it happened when the truck was backing into a driveway near the 200 block of North Main Street in Port Matilda.
Authorities say the driver did not see the tree hanging over into the driveway.
The county coroner’s office says Kerstetter was pronounced dead at the scene and that he died from blunt force trauma to the head.
State Police continue to investigate.
