We learned the name of the person who was shot and killed by State Police after a high-speed chase on Sunday in Indiana County. The Coroner says he is 51-year-old John Dye of Homer City.
State Police say they were attempting a traffic stop of Dye’s vehicle in Center Township, but it quickly turned into a chase. Investigators say the pursuit traveled through multiple roads in Center Township and Homer City Borough. Then continued on State Route 119 — when State Police were involved in the shooting.
