A 22-year-old Somerset Borough man has been charged with repeatedly raping a boy starting in 2021.
According to a probable-cause affidavit, in September, the boy told police that Brandon Warrick began sexually assaulting him when he was 12 or 13 years old.
During some of the assaults, Warrick is accused of holding a knife to the boy’s throat, choking him and placing a plastic bag over his head, according to the affidavit.
Warrick also threatened to kill the boy if he told anyone about the assaults, according to the affidavit.
Warrick has been charged with 64 sex-related and assault offenses, including 10 first-degree felony rape charges.
He was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge Kenneth Johnson, of Somerset, and was sent to the Somerset County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:15 a.m. Dec. 12
