A missing person mystery from the Washington DC area has led investigators to Mifflin County.
Zac Kaye was at the scene and tells us what we’re learning tonight.
The Calvert County Sheriffs Office told me that their team has been here in Reedsville since late last night even FBI officials from State College got involved
47-Year-old Brandon Holbrook of Reedsville was arrested around 11:30 on Tuesday Night. He was charged with first and second-degree murder along with assault.
This stems from the Calvert County Sheriffs Office responded to a missing person call on September Fourth in Huntingtown Maryland and soon suspected that foul play was involved.
They followed a lead that led to them performing search warrants in Reedsville and have been working with the Mifflin County Sheriffs Office since then. Both departments stressed to me that there is no threat to the public
at this time.
Neither department was able to give me more information on what is currently going on with the investigation still pending.
One detective from Mifflin County told me that they expect to be at the scene here in Reedsville all throughout the night.
