Penn State officials are responding to an on-campus event involving Proud Boys founder Gavin Mcinnes.
It’s scheduled for October 24th.
Officials are saying the university neither supports nor condones what they describe as a comedy-related event organized by a registered university organization but they will allow it to go on citing the first amendment protecting
various expressive rights.
There are 2 other university-hosted events scheduled for that day that officials are encouraging students to attend.
