Authorities with the Hastings Borough Police Department are investigating an alleged hit-and-run incident that left a woman seriously injured.
Police say the crash reportedly occurred just after 6 p.m. Monday evening in the area of Miller Street and Rich Hill Street.
Investigators say the female victim was reportedly struck by a vehicle, and the driver then fled the scene.
Police say the woman suffered serious injuries and had to be flown to a hospital in Pittsburgh.
Officers are asking residents who live along the following streets to check any home surveillance cameras.

Spring Road
Murphy Spring Road
Scout Road
Pine Road
