For the first time this season Penn State has cracked the AP Top 10 Poll
Following the 35-16 win over Michigan State Saturday, the Nittany Lions are now ranked 8th by the Associated Press 3 spots up from their previous ranking of 11
Penn State finished their regular season 10-2 those 2 losses came from Michigan and Ohio State who are both ranked within the top 5
Keep in mind these are not the college football playoff rankings those will be released
Penn State will find out their CFP status Today at 7 pm
Later this week is selection day
On Sunday at Noon Penn State will find out what bowl game they will play in this season
A top ten ranking could land the Nittany Lions in either a Cotton or Rose Bowl
That all depends on Ohio State’s fate following their first loss of the season to Michigan
