Authorities with the Loretto Borough Police Department say two out-of-state men are behind bars following an investigation into an alleged sexual assault at a Cambria County residence.
According to the affidavit, police say the female victim came forward over the summer to report that she had been allegedly assaulted at a party at a Loretto Borough home.
Police say, according to the victim, one of the men, identified as 20-year-old Marcel Mami, of Fredrick, Maryland, allegedly led the woman into the basement of the home.
Police say Mami then reportedly shoved the victim to the ground and began removing her pants while another man, identified as 20-year-old Daunte White, of Wharton, New Jersey, allegedly began forcing the victim to perform sexual acts.
Investigators say while the victim was being forced by White, Mami allegedly assaulted her.
Police say the victim claimed that Mami had held her down while he committed the alleged assault.
Both men were arraigned to the Cambria County Prison Tuesday night on charges of rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, conspiracy and unlawful restraint.
According to online court records, each man’s bail has been set at $75,000.
