Authorities in Clearfield County say a former manager of a local haunted tourist attraction is facing charges after he was accused of repeatedly raping a teenage girl.
According to the affidavit, state police allege that Kip Kolesar Jr., now age 26, sexually assaulted the 14-year-old victim at various locations, including the site of the haunted house and at a local baseball field.
Police say, according to the victim, Kolesar allegedly raped the girl approximately 10 times during the summer and fall of 2021.
Authorities say Kolesar reportedly forced the victim to perform sexual acts while working at the “Max’s Revenge Haunted Attraction,” located at the Expo 2 Building in Clearfield Borough.
Police say Kolesar is also accused of supplying alcohol to the other underage employees of the haunted house.
According to online court records, Kolesar faces multiple counts of felony rape, statutory sexual assault and aggravated indecent assault.
He is being held at the Clearfield County Prison and his bail was denied.
