A Blair County woman is behind bars after an infant in her care allegedly sustained a skull fracture and other injuries.
Police say that in December of 2020 now 35 year old Marjorie Houck of Altoona dropped the child and initially did not seek medical treatment.
Police say Houck also admitted to shaking the baby when she became frustrated with his crying.
They say Houck also broke the child’s arm about a month prior when she was placing him in a car seat.
Houck is now charged with multiple offenses including felonies for endangering the welfare of children and aggravated assault.
She was arraigned earlier today and is being housed in the Blair County Prison.
