In Centre County volunteers at the Faith United Methodist Church in Bellefonte spent their Christmas serving hot meals for people throughout the county.
The Bellefonte Community Christmas Dinner has been going on at the church on Hughes Street for more than twenty years.
People who were at the church were able to form a fellowship with church members and volunteers.
The church also provided take out meals and delivered meals to those who weren’t able to get to the church.
“This year we have about two hundred twenty five volunteers, possibly two hundred and fifty. We have women who signed Christmas Cards that go in the take out and delivery boxes.
we have people who will wrap individual boxes, so that the meal that goes into the box looks like a Christmas Present coming to them.”
On the menu this year was Turkey with Stuffing, Veggies, Desserts, and Drinks.
