State police say an attempted homicide investigation is underway after a shooting in Quemahoning Township yesterday.
Neighbors say they heard a gunshot around 5:30 yesterday evening.
They say it sounded like someone was hunting which is nothing unusual for these parts. But got suspicious when they saw an ambulance outside of the home located on the 300 block of Plank Road near Quemahoning Resevoir
Neighbors tell me they saw someone leave the scene in a U-Haul truck.
Troopers were seen at the home for hours last night.
Now again state police are confirming very little this evening. It’s still unclear what led to the shooting or whether anyone has been charged.
The condition of the apparent vicitm is also unclear.
I tried contacting them throughout the day but have yet to hear back from them.
They do say that there is currently no threat to the public.
