Authorities with the Tyrone Police Department say a local 18-year-old is facing charges after he was accused of inappropriately touching a 14-year-old girl over the weekend.
Police say on Friday night, they received a complaint that Derrick Little, 18, had sexually assaulted a female juvenile and that the assault was reportedly witnessed by two other teenagers.
According to the affidavit, Little and the three teens had reportedly went to a friend’s house in Tyrone on Friday evening.
Police say while the group was sitting on a bed and talking, Little reportedly began to put his arms around one of the teens and “pull her towards him.”
Authorities say, according to the victim, Little then began to grope her and put his hands down her shirt and pants.
Police say the victim told officers that she tried to pull away from him, but that he continued to molest her.
Authorities say the girl eventually got away from Little but stated that he then reportedly tried to follow her into the bathroom and asked if he could “watch her use the bathroom.”
Police say the teen and her friends then left the home, as Little rode away on his bicycle.
Investigators noted that the victim and her friends told police that Little had previously made them feel uncomfortable in certain situations.
According to online court records, Little was arraigned on charges of felony corruption of minors, indecent assault and harassment.
He is being held at the Blair County Prison on $50,000 bail.
