Authorities in Cambria County say two men are behind bars following an early morning drug bust in Johnstown’s West End.
Officials say a search warrant was executed Wednesday morning at a home along the 100 block of Cook Street in relation to an investigation into the distribution of fentanyl.
Authorities say two men, Terrell Turner and Jermiah Evans, were taken into custody on charges of drug possession and illegal firearms possession.
Investigators say a search of the home led to the discovery of various drugs including 44 grams of fentanyl, 3.5 grams of crack cocaine, amphetamine pills, and drug paraphernalia.
Authorities say police also seized an AR-15 rifle and over $600 cash.
“The hard work and dedication of law enforcement was again on full display today. Extended investigations take time, persistence, and patience. The fruits of a well-run investigation were evident today. The community is reminded; if you see something, say something”
Officials say both men are being housed at the Cambria County Prison.
