Students Teaching Students

Students teaching students, that’s just part of what a local Children’s Literacy event offered tonight when local college kids studying early childhood education got the chance to teach and interact with younger students during the second annual Children’s Literacy Night

The Penn Highlands Community College Freshman and Sophomore students organized a Glow Station and Lucky Station to interact with the younger students and to teach them about all about the importance of having literacy skills.

Local organizations including, The Learning Lamp and the Cambria County Library hosted other stations at the event.

The Keystone State Literacy Association and Penn Highlands Community College sponsored the event and organizers hope to continue to keep it going every year.
