This week in Centre County, Penndot will hold two public open houses on the controversial State College Connector Project.
The project, also dubbed the Missing Link, is to upgrade the travel corridor from Eastern Centre County at Potters Mills into the Centre region, or to Interstate 80. Penndot has nine options for a new roadway.
Some, that would be built near the existing Route 322, are already sparking opposition from nearby farmers especially. Penndot hopes to narrow the route options sometime this Summer.
The open houses will be held Tuesday and Wednesday. Both begin at three o’clock in the Afternoon.
Tuesday’s will held at the Calvary Church in Boalsburg, and on Wednesday, it will be at the Centre Hall Fire Company.
