After getting scammed out of thousands of dollars the Somerset County Treasurer’s Office has been reimbursed.
Back in June the office lost more than 11-thousand dollars after state police say they got a fake email that looked like it was from the County’s head Commissioner.
The County’s Solicitor says the First National Bank fraud unit fully reimbused the county in the amount of 11-thousand 295 dollars.
It’s still unclear who was behind the scam.
State police continue to investigate.
