A Somerset County man sentenced to years in prison earlier this week is facing new charges for rape and sexual assault.
Police say that 35 year old Wayne Warnick, of Shade Township, repeatedly sexually assaulted a male juvenile starting in 2014.
Police say the abuse continued until as recently as 2022.
Warnick is charged with several offenses, including felonies for rape of a child and statutory sexual assault.
He is being housed in the Somerset County Jail with his preliminary hearing scheduled for Tomorrow.
Warnick was sentenced earlier this week to 10 to 20 years in State Prison for sexually assaulting a teenage girl in 2020.
Online court records show that Warnick pleaded guilty to one felony count of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse in that case.
