Shooting Suspect At Liquid Currency Arrested In N.J.

Authorities say the man wanted on homicide charges for fatally shooting 21-year-old Caleb Beppler outside a Cambria City bar in early June has been taken into custody.

According to the Cambria County District Attorney’s office, Dirk Jones was arrested Thursday morning in New Jersey by the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force.

Authorities say Jones now awaits extradition to Pennsylvania to face charges related to the June 10th fatal shooting outside the Liquid Currency Bar.

Police say surveillance video from the bar reportedly shows Jones exit the establishment and fire seven shots into a crowd, striking both Beppler and his cousin.
