Officials with Pasquerilla Enterprises announced Thursday that the Holiday Inn Express and Suites, located along Scalp Ave. in Richland, has been sold.
“The Holiday Inn Express & Suites has served the community since 1986 and we are very proud of the rebuild and grand reopening in 2016. We are encouraged by the buyers and their willingness to invest in the hospitality industry in Greater Johnstown,”
The property has been purchased by Plamondon Hospitality Partners.
“Plamondon is an award-winning hotel company that has served the hospitality industry for over 40 years in multiple states.”
The hotel first opened in 1986 as a Super 8. It was then converted to a Holiday Inn Express in 1995.
The building was then demolished in 2015 and rebuilt as an updated Holiday Inn Express and Suites.
