Johnstown Police and the Cambria County District Attorney’s Office are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect of Monday’s fatal shooting in the Moxham-section of the city.
Police were dispatched to the 600 block of Park Ave., around 2 p.m. Monday, for a report of a gunshot victim.
Authorities say the investigation prompted the lockdown of several local schools.
Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees described the victim as a man who appears to be in his 40s, however, officials have not yet released the victim’s identity.
Lees adds that the victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Now, police are attempting to identify the suspect pictured in the above photographs.
Anyone who can identify the pictured individual is asked to contact Johnstown Police at 814-472-2100 and request to speak to Detective Sergeant Cory Adams.
Police say the public can also submit an anonymous tip by texting the keyword JPD to 847411.
Officials with the Cambria County Crime Stoppers organization say they are also offering up to a $2,000 reward for any information in the case.
The organization can be contacted by calling 1-800-548-7500 and leaving an anonymous tip.
