On Monday night, a local High Schooler reached a Career Milestone in Basketball. Luke Repko, a Senior at Bishop Carroll, scored his 1000th point. The Huskies hosted Somerset for Repko’s historic moment. Repko finished with 26 points in three quarters, only three less than Somerset’s entire team.
Repko said he didn’t actually know how many points he needed to reach 1000. Repko saying: “I knew I was close, but they didn’t tell me how many points I was away, so I was kind of surprised. I kind of got the hint that I was really close. Everyone was cheering a little louder than usual.”
The Final Score was: Bishop Carroll – 71, Somerset – 29
