Officials in Clearfield County are speaking out tonight after a lack in Turn out for a Borough Council Meeting that was aimed to bring more members to join their council.
A total of 16 people turned out for the Coalport Borough Council Meeting tonight, causing anger among the only 2 council members that remain on the board.
This is the first meeting held since February and Council President Ricardo Nardelli says the council is short members because two of their former members retired.
Nardelli says that if they don’t fill these open seats, they aren’t sure what the next step is.
The council needs a lot of road repairs, and equipment replacements, but haven’t been able to apply for grants without a full council
