A burn ban has been issued for Logan Township to help prevent brush fires.
The Logan Township Board of Supervisors issued a ban on all open burning which includes recreational fires. They explained that trees without leaves during warmer weather make ideal conditions for brush fires to occur.
The ban will remain in effect until April 16. The township asks all residents to comply with the ban and to report anyone who violated the ban.
