And now to the disturbing case where a Cambria County mother is accused of strangling her 5-year-old son to death.
It happened just two weeks ago.
This is video of Jennifer Bowser as she was led out of District Court today in Cresson.
Judge John Prebish granted a continuance for her preliminary hearing.
The defense asked that more time be allowed for Bowser to undergo a competency evaluation in the case before appearing again in court.
Bowser is accused of killing her 5-year-old son Samson at Martha’s Manor in Cresson Township on February 5th after she claimed to hear voices in her head
She is charged with criminal homicide and other offenses.
Her new preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 23rd before Judge Prebish.
