An annual Girls Night Out event was held this evening at the Cambria County War Memorial in Johnstown to support Breast Cancer Awareness.
The 16th annual Tonia Oechslin Girls Night Out held purse auctions, a basket raffle, and much more to raise funds that would be donated to the Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center in Windber.
Tickets sold for $75 dollars each, with nearly a thousand women in attendance.
The annual night started as a pay it forward project created by Tounia
Taunia’s goal was to educate women about early detection, resources available, and proper treatment.
So far the Girls Night Out event has already raised over $1.4 million for the Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center
