Investigators say the cause of death is being ruled “Methamphetamine Toxicity.” Cambria County District Attorney Greg Neugebauer weighed in on cases like this involving children. He says its the job of Law Enforcement to make sure perpetrators are held accountable. Neugebauer saying: “Any time you see a child as a victim it sort of heightens the awareness of law enforcement and it’s a motivator to law enforcement to ensure that that type of conduct that causes the child to be hurt is both prosecuted and the people that perpetrate that type of harm are held accountable.”
The women are facing drug charges, as well as involuntary manslaughter, reckless endangerment, and endangering the welfare of a child.
