Authorities with the Upper Yoder Police Department say a portion of Goucher Street will be closed for a “prolonged” period of time after a school bus struck a gas main.
Officials say the roadway will be closed between Harshberger Road and Sell Street.
Goucher Street has reopened after being temporarily closed following a crash involving a school bus.
911 officials say no injuries were reported when the bus struck a gas man along the 700 block of Goucher Street.
Authorities say the gas leak has been contained and nearby residents have been cleared to return to their homes.
Upper Yoder Police are investigating the incident.
