Freight Station Homicide Update

Investigators are still trying to piece together what led to the homicide of a Johnstown bar owner last week.

The Cambria County Crime Stoppers is now offering $3000 dollars for information that leads to the arrest of the person who killed Lance Ross the owner of the Freight Station.

During a press conference last Friday, authorities said they responded to a call at the Freight Station for a man later identified as Ross who was reportedly injured falling down the stairs on February 20th

But Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees later said Ross’s autopsy showed multiple blunt force trauma and his death ruled a homicide

Officials say lance Ross died at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center the same night.

“Somebody knows something that hopefully they will come forth, and tell us information that we need.”

Authorities say the motive is still not known and there is no danger to the public.
