A former Penn State student was sentenced Tuesday for reportedly raping an unconscious woman nearly two years ago.
Police say Brian Loeper was accused of sexually assaulting the woman while the two were attending a party in August of 2021.
During the sentencing hearing, the victim testified that she has been in therapy since the reported assault, suffers from PTSD and is “afraid to go out into public.”
Loeper was sentenced to serve at least 11-and-a-half months in the Centre County Correctional Facility.
