Another joint board meeting was held this evening with officials from Sandy Township and the city of Dubois voting to approve a fire subcommittee.
The discussion to approve subcommittee was brought to the meeting which will be made up of 1 firefighter from each of the companies within the Dubois Fire Department and 1 from the fire companies within Sandy Township.
The meeting was brought on by officials voting in a 4 to 1 vote last month to continue with the consolidation plan for both towns.
