It’s that time of year again to watch out for deer.
A new study shows that 1 in 127 drivers throughout the United States will hit an animal this year while driving with Pennsylvania ranking Third in the Nation where they are most likely to happen.
November, October and December in that order are the most dangerous months according to the study.
Deer continue to be at the top of the list followed by Rodents, Dogs, Raccoons and Coyotes.

Driving on a paved and rural road with little traffic and a somewhat dark sky.
Tips for avoiding animals include staying alert not swerving using your high beams and honking if necessary.
For anyone who does hit or gets hit by an animal do not try to approach it.
