Crews responded to a house fire this evening in Cambria County.
The Fire Chief at Cover Hill Volunteer Fire Department says they responded to an attic fire on the 200 block of Hatch Lane in Conemaugh Township around 5:30.
The residents of the home, were inside when the fire broke out but we’re told they were able to get out safely, and no injuris were reported.
The Red Cross was notified to help the family.
Fire officials say the cause of the fire was a flue pipe that went through the back of the roof.
