Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center Adds New Cardiovascular And Surgical Care Pavilion

In Cambria County a ribbon cutting was held at CMMC for new surgical care pavilion

The completion of the new cardiovascular and surgical care pavilion was commemorated this afternoon with an official ribbon cutting ceremony.

After two years of construction and a $77 million dollar investment, Officials say the new pavilion will serve as the region’s only facility offering centralized cardiac services and is seen as a valuable step in saving lives and making local communities healthier.

Conemaugh Hospital President and CEO Rodney Reider says this will make a major difference for patients in the area

“It means high quality care, it means high quality care that covers a wide range from Hershey to Pittsburgh. we’re taking care of patients that you really can’t get any place else. it’s that level of advanced technological care to making sure that we also touch every patient
that comes in. and it’s simpler too for the patients. when they come in, they can go to one place and they can get everything taken care of.”

The new pavilion is set to open in March
