College Football Bye Week

It’s week 6 in college football and two of our teams are on their bye week or rather put the off week as Head Coach James Franklin calls it

The Pitt Panthers are the only team in action this Saturday

They host the Virginia Tech Hokies for a 3;30 kickoff

Pitt is looking to bounce back after the loss to Georgia Tech and pick up their first ACC win

The Red Flash are riding into the bye week feeling pretty good winning their last three straight and staring conference play undefeated

But Head Coach Chris Villirrial doesn’t want his team to get too comfortable this week

Because when they play next their back on the road at Long Island University for their homecoming game

Coach Villarrial is giving the team a long weekend off but by Monday he expects his team to pick things up where they left them

Saint Francis is averaging about 31 points per game this season

Coach Villarrial said a big reason why this offense is so good is because they face guys like Donnell Brown everyday in practice

Brown leads the team with 6.5 tackles for loss for 38 yards he has 3 QB hits 2 sacks and a forced fumble through 5 games

Brown and other constantly pose challenges for the offense helping them prepare for the competition
