We begin tonight with a Claysburg man accused of beating woman last Summer is now behind bars in Blair County.
Earlier Today, 27-year-old William Dibert was arraigned in Martinsburg District Court and sent to the Blair County Prison.
Dibert had been wanted since an August 21st incident in Greenfield Township where he allegedly punched the woman several times, hit her with a rifle and strangled her until she passed out.
The incident caused a large-scale police search, which included four departments and a helicopter unit.
Dibert is facing several charges, including felonies for aggravated assault, strangulation and possession of a firearm.
He is being held on $500-thousand-dollars bail.
