A Centre County man will spend the next five to ten years in prison and must register as a sex offender for life for raping a mentally disabled child back in October.
He was charged with one count of rape of a child among others.
According to the criminal complaint David Heck of Phillipsburg was spotted by witnesses naked in the woods performing sex acts and threatened the child if he told anyone what happened.

When the judge asked Heck if he had any comment he said quote: “wish me luck’.
