Central Cambria has a legacy when it comes to Cross Country
Since the early 2000’s the Red Devil girls have won 5 State Titles
The boys have come pretty close in 2019 they finished second in the PIAA State Tournament but now the Central Cambria Boys have capped off their 9 straight district titles with Gold in Hershey
On Saturday the Central Camrbia boys claimed their first Cross Country State Championship by winning the 1A team title
Aiden Lechlitner led the way for the Red Devils by finishing 9th individually at 17 minutes and 30.4 seconds
Lechlitner said the team expected to finish towards the top but when they found out they held the very top spot he and the team were at a loss for words
