Cambria County Commissioners are voting today to approve applying for a bridge loan of 7-million dollars.
The loan is only for three months, to get the county through the end of the year as all bills need paid before the end of 2023.
Officials say they have the money but it’s tied up in CD’s and would bring a loss of money if they take it out.
They need the loan in part because of money tied up with the state budget being incomplete.
