We begin tonight with a Blair County man who has been charged this week for his involvement in a DUI crash that fatally injured his passenger last year.
Police say in March William Tremmel, of Altoona, had alcohol and marijuana in his system when he crashed a vehicle on Broad Avenue in the city.
Tremmel’s passenger, Jeffrey Berryman, was pronounced dead two days later at a Pittsburgh hospital.
Tremmel has been charged with multiple offenses, including felonies for aggravated assault by vehicle while driving under the influence.
He is being held in the Blair County Prison
