A Blair County man is behind bars tonight, accused of sexually abusing a relative for years.
Your looking at 49-year-old James Kennedy of Altoona who police say began sexually assaulting the victim when he was 8 or 9 years old.
On February 19th the victim told police the assaults continued as the boy aged, with Kennedy bribing the juvenile with money and other items to perform sex acts.
Police say on Sunday Kennedy was found in an Altoona Motel with a letter professing his guilt.
Kennedy is charged with several sex offenses, including multiple felony counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse.
He is being housed at the Blair County Prison.
