State police in Bedford County are providing new details about the investigation into multiple overdoses at a local Sheetz store over the weekend.
Troopers say authorities were dispatched to the store, located along Business Route 220, around 11:30 a.m. Sunday.
According to the affidavit, troopers made contact with two individuals, 30-year-old Amanda Allison II and 41-year-old Nathaniel Michael, who were actively showing symptoms of a suspected overdose.
Investigators say both Allison and Michael were found to be in possession of a white, powdery substance, which was believed to be Fentanyl, as well as drug paraphernalia.
Police say Allison was treated at the scene by EMS, as was Michael, who was also revived with Narcan after he allegedly collapsed inside the store.
Authorities say both individuals were transported to the Bedford County Correctional Facility on various drug-related charges.
A state police spokesperson confirmed Monday that a third individual is being treated at UPMC Bedford. Their identity has not yet been released.
