Jeffrey Snaman, of Altoona, was sentenced to 56 to 112 years in state prison for his collection of over 1500 child pornography photos and 124 videos.
Snaman was convicted by a jury in July on more than 30 counts of possession and related charges.
Altoona Police began an investigation on Snaman in December 2019 when they went to his residence for a suicide attempt by another resident.
Investigators say they found drug paraphernalia, and obtained a warrant to search the building and found nearly a dozen thumb drives and other digital devices with the images and videos.
