Trump’s pick for NIH director clears committee, heads to full Senate vote
The Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions voted Thursday morning to advance President Donald Trump’s pick to head the National Institutes of Health, Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, in a 12 to 11 party line vote.
