Authorities in Cambria County say an investigation is underway after two men were reportedly found dead inside a home in East Taylor Township on Wednesday morning.
County coroner Jeff Lees confirmed that the two men were discovered inside a residence on the 300 block of Faight Court.
While the identities of the two men have not yet been released, investigators say one of the men was in his mid-50s while the other was in his late 60s.
Authorities add that one of the men lived at the residence by himself and the other was visiting him.
The county coroner’s office and the Cambria County District Attorney’s Office are assisting East Taylor Township Police with the death investigation.
Lees says an external examination of the men’s bodies did not reveal any signs of traumatic injury.
Officials say first responders tested the home for possible carbon monoxide but says those tests were negative.
Coroner Lees says autopsies are scheduled to be performed on Wednesday to help determine the cause and manner of death.
District Attorney Jessica Aurandt says her office is waiting for the results of those autopsies, and there is no information to share in the meantime.
