Small Buisiness Help in Clearfield

Chamber members along with local officials and Congressman Glenn Thompson were there.

This pilot program is a small start-up endeavor for the chamber, starting out with 4 local small businesses.

This is also used by current businesses for education such as Quick Book training or creating business plans.

This is a new and unique endeavor for Clearfield County.

Everything in the facility has been donated by chamber members.

A grand opening was held today for the Greater Clearfield Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur Center in Lawrence Township.

“We have a lot of businesses that went out of business and we’re trying to home grow our own businesses in our own back yard by helping folks that are in their garages or in their house. And they’re still fearful of starting. We’re going to be there to coach them on.”

The chamber says the space they are making available to rent is much cheaper than a business renting out a storefront in downtown Clearfield.
