Authorities reporting that shots were again fired in the City of Johnstown this past weekend, marking the fourth shooting incident in the past month.
Investigators say that police were called to the 600 block of Napoleon Street just after 7 pm on Sunday, for reports of shots being fired.
Dispatchers could not confirm the nature of the incident but Johnstown Police Chief, Mark Britton says that no injuries were reported, and no one was struck by gunfire.
Cambria County District Attorney, Jessica Aurandt told us this morning that the shots were reportedly fired from a SUV
Britton says that witness’s on the scene reported hearing gun shots at the time of the incident, he says that the searched for and collected evidence at the scene.
Our crews also spoke to a witness this morning who said that they heard several gunshots and the sound of a car driving away quickly.
Britton says that they are investing the incident and looking through surveillance to see what they can find.
