Pennsylvania State Police are investigating after a dog that was reported missing earlier this month in East Providence Township in Bedford County was found to have been shot and killed, state police say.
According to a press release, the dog was found by it’s owners September 10 on East Graceville Road after approximately one week of searching for it.
State police said the dog was a German Shepherd and Pit Bull mix, approximately eight-years-old and black, brown and grey in color.
